I am soooo dissappointed! This was my FAVORITE place in 2002. We LOVED it. This this past trip broke my heart, I don't know if I can ever go back! :sad2:
We got the same server we had back in 2005...and she hasn't got any better. We went in for dinner at 4, so not really the dinner rush, but it took over 2 hours for dinner. For a hot dog, 2 kids chicken nugget dinners, and a salad. I had to ask 3 times before I got one refill. We saw her maybe 4 times, no antics except to tell my 4 year old to stop whining. Thats not antics...that is rude. We never got the dessert viewfinder. I've had better service at Denny's at 2 a.m.
The service is not the same as it was when DH and I went in 2002, so I think next year this one is not making it on the ADR list. If by a miracle we end up there, I'll make sure to ask for a different server!

I'm hoping to go in August there so I'm hoping its a better experience than you. The reviews I read online say that everyone has a different experience based on whether the server is obnoxious or not and depending on how they treat you. We'll see what happens!

Well, if your server is an older lady with red hair, ask to be moved to a different section!

We had a really funny guy from Egypt last August. He really nailed my daughter!!! He was the highlight of our meal. Better luck next time - it can only improve!!!:thumbsup2

We had a young server named Amanda when we ate there this past January. It was one of the best experiences I've had with Disney Dining. We all got nicknames like Sparky and Princess. She was hilarious, but very attentive at the same time. The food was delicious and we all had a great time. It was my mom's birthday and she made a huge deal out of it, my mom was thrilled. If you're eating there, definitely ask for her and you won't be disappointed!

sorry you had a bad time there - we've always been lucky, usually get auntie claire - DH loves the pot roast (even with a migraine, he enjoyed himself!) - he just said it again, loves the pot roast!

(should i be wondering why he doesn't love my pot roast as much???!!)

So sorry to hear about the disappointment! DH and I went last year and had a great time. Our waitress really got into it and made my husband and I feed each vegetables. I think it really just hit or miss. We are going again this year, hope for the same good experience!
