I truly love reading the reviews - I appreciate the people that take the time to post reviews, and add pictures!!

I read a month or so ago a regular Boma diner who posted that things had changed on their (Boma's dinner) buffet - esp no Prime Rib, replaced with a "steak option" which got dry and tough...

Just read another review that there was no Prime Rib at Chef Mickey's

I know here in IL I can find all u can eat buffets that do have Prime Rib on them - its a restaurant cut of "prime" rib - no bones and that's what Disney served -

just curious if anyone can post experiences - has the prime rib disappeared?

TIA

I too am looking for this answer.

Can anyone confirm the restaurants that have Prime Rib?

I'm sure it's been at least a year since people started discussing removal of prime rib from buffets and I still can't come on here and say I'm absolutely certain that any buffet does or does not serve prime rib - I don't go to buffets much, and if I did I wouldn't notice if they had prime rib or not, since I won't eat it.

I don't even recall any posts definitely saying so except that I did see something about Boma.

its not the usual prime rib that we know .....its a roasted prime rib and it tastes a little different then regular cut..
We had it in May at Crystal palace and also someplace else we ate...
We are going again in a few weeks and will let you know again where it is located and how it was.....It is still listed on some of the menus for buffets, but also it is added as a roasted prime rib..

There was no Prime Rib at Cape May this week. They only had one meat that was being carved and it was some type of roast beef. Seems in the past they used to carved 2 different types of meat.

Just wanted to mention that we ate at the Turf Club at SSR this week and Prime Rib is still on the menu there. 2 of us ordered it and it was very good. They use to have it at GF Cafe, but no longer.

We were there June 2-11 and it was no longer served at Chef Mickey's, Cape May or Hollywood & Vine. Chef Mickey's was always a first night tradition for us each and every trip but I was very disapointed with the food in June so I don't think we'll be going back. I wish things were better there.

I am not big on Prime Rib, so can't say for sure when Cape May got rid of theirs. But it has been quite some time ago.
It's been at least 4 -5 years when we dined there with friends when one mentioned something to the meat carver about the prime rib. He immediately corrected her and stated what type of meat it was. But it was not prime rib even back then.
I'm not sure if they still serve it at PM or not. But that was never what would have been considered a good prime rib. It was what one would expect at a food court.
