Prime rib on any buffets?

I know some of the TS buffet restaurants used to serve prime rib and heard it was removed in place of a "healthier" beef alternative (ie, it was about lowering costs). Does anyone know if it's still around any longer?

We are just back from a vacation and I can say of the buffets we ate at that "advertised" Prime Rib, none of them had it. It is more of a strip loin cut, done med so I liked it, but sure not prime rib. The only prime rib I had was at Le Cellier (it was fantastic).
The buffets we did were, CM, Boma and Crystal Palace.

I was curious because I thought I saw a couple of menus on allears that listed prime rib on the buffets even though the menus were from June I thought. I was there in May on the DDXP, but didn't eat at any of the buffets like Chef Mickeys, Crystal Palace, 1900 Park Fare, or Cape May Cafe that "advertise" prime rib, or at least those that had in the past.

I would assume that any buffet that has a carving station offers prime rib, at least some of the time.

Nope, no prime rib offered anymore. They have switched to the strip loin cut. It is a shame, I was so hoping for some Prime Rib on the buffets.

Every restaurant has switched from prime rib? Or just some?

All the buffets have switched. The only place I could find prime rib was steakhouses. NOt sure if Kona still has theirs or not but unless it is a steakhouse you most likely aren't going to find it.

That really stinks as I had some good prime rib at the 1900 Park Fare and the Crystal Palace the last two years We were just there last August and June and enjoyed the prime rib at both places Guess I will be skipping the buffets next time around!
