Prime Pantry Delivery to Resort??

I've decided to try PrimePantry for this trip since it will just be two of us at a value resort instead of a family of 4-8 in a DVC villa. We normally use GardenGrocer, but we don't need $40 worth of groceries and I don't want to buy stuff that we could easily pack, just to meet a minimum order requirement. PrimePantry will allow me to order the things that I can't or don't want to pack in our checked luggage (i.e. a case of water and a case of diet soda!)

We are arriving on a Thursday in October...when should I place my order so that it arrives at the resort by Wednesday? I do NOT want it to be late because if it doesn't show up until Monday, it defeats the purpose since we are leaving on Tuesday. I am not familiar with the shipping times for Prime Pantry. Is it the same as the Prime 2-day shipping? If that's the case, I should be fine to order it on Monday, right? Any advice would be appreciated

I'd order a little earlier than Monday. I believe last September I ordered my box (also for two) five or six days before and it arrived the day before our arrival. Prime Pantry isn't always as reliable as regular a Prime deliveries for some reason! The hotel will hold packages starting seven days prior to your arrival!

So glad you mentioned they will hold for 7 days. I just ordered from Walmart today, and was wondering if there would be a problem if they held it for a few days. Whew!
