Making my own Primanti's sandwiches tonight! Have some Steak-Ums, and hubby just went to the store to get good rolls, cabbage for coleslaw, fries, and provolone cheese.

We've done that before. I love them! Not as good as the real thing but since we live so far away they work.

You're partially right. You put the fries and slaw on the sandwich, but don't dunk it in anything.

I used to work across the street in the Strip District. My father would call me "innocently" to check up on me and then suddenly suggest I bring some home for dinner. Several nights a week!

Live north of the city. Love the sandwiches, hate the slaw they put in them. But Im picky about the slaw. Now the knock offs they make at work in the cafe. Love Em.

Enjoy! We're visiting Pittsburgh soon, but sadly I don't think Primanti's is in the cards for us because we'll be eating with family. If we can sneak out and buy a Primanti's, we will!!! Wish us luck!
