Someone was nice enough to price out a 7 night eastern caribbean on fantasy for easter week for me (I know that makes it pricier). Is it normal to see a $1500 jump from a family oceanview to family verandah? It looks like the hawiian 10 day is cheaper than the 7 day caribbean easter. Im just surprised. Anyone with insight? My last 2 cruises it was close to $300-$400 to upgrade to verandah so this just seems to be alot.

I rather imagine we're going to see price increases unlike any we've seen in the past due to the capacity requirements, and making up for lost time/money.

good point princessshmoo. I havent been on here since my last trip in 2019, nice to see a familiar name. thanks for your input. I know I cant change the price, coming here is like therapy. :)

So far doesn’t seem to be the case for all. I rebooked a January back-to-back on the Magic from 2021 to 2022. Same itineraries, etc., and got exactly the same staterooms. The 2022 cruises were both $200-$300 cheaper than 2021.

I think Easter is probably popular due in part to some schools having that time period off, so sort of spring break price surge. I bet if you looked at the Fantasy the week before or after it would be cheaper than Hawaii. Of course the added expense to Hawaii is the two one way flights!

Try booking with an airline that doesn't ding you... Alaska is the same price for each leg whether or not it is round trip and I'm sure others do the same.
