Pricing Question for Dream!

Hi-I apologize if this has been asked recently. But I'm a 1st time Disney cruiser

I was online a 2-3 weeks ago, searching for Sept 2016 pricing, and the 3 night cruises were all around $1200. Now they are $1600+. Do they change every so often or will they now not go any lower. At $1200 I was interested but a $400 increase seams like a lot for the so called slow season.

Standard pricing for cruises has fare increases on a "tiered" system -- the more staterooms are booked, the higher the prices go. So the lower fares are most likely to be available earlier rather than later; the longer you wait to book, the more likely it is prices will increase. Sept. 2016 cruises have been available to book for a few months now.

There could be "last minute" specials offered, but those would not come out until next summer for Sept. 2016 cruises. And no guarantee one would be offered for the cruise date you want.

Hmm. Well, there's not really a slow season anymore. That said, I'm looking at the historical prices on Dream 3 night September 2016 sailings (can't name the site) and I don't see quite the jump you're describing in such a short time frame. Are you sure you're looking at the same date/cabin class?

For example, on the 09/09/16 sailing, a cat 04A shows up as $750/pp, but that's only $24 more pp than when the price was created (earliest recorded price $726).

Maybe there is no slow season in cruising. We are going to WDW during Sept because its slower. Ugh, I should have scooped them up at the $1200 then Maybe we will wait until the next time and book right when prices come out. I cant justify knowing they were that much cheaper buying them now. lol.
