Note that none of those prices include $14/day for parking if you are driving in.

The HP section will be at Islands of Adventure, it is scheduled to open spring 2010.

You've come to the right place :cool1:

wow - aren't those prices higher then Disney?

gonna cost about 300 bucks just to see HP ouch

Nope, prices are actually lower. You can do 7 days at Universal for $99. You won't get any hopper passes for anywhere near that price!!!

However, day prices are the same.

Universal is way, way more than Harry Potter. I suggest you make a few days of it.

but there are 2 parks right? so is that $99 for both parks just one each day or do you have to pick one park and go there?

we're used to getting 10 day park tickets for disney so i don't know what the day rate is

For $99 you can get both parks for 7 days, go back and forth as many times as you want. That's slightly more than one day one park at WDW and if you have a Kroger in your area you can bring it down another $10.

The day rate for one day one park at WDW is about the same, maybe a couple of dollars more, plus that same $14/day for parking. I renew my annual pass, which is for both parks and includes parking, for about the same price as on day at a WDW park and parking. We spent about 20 days here spread out over 4 trips so our cost per day was between $5 and $6, including parking.

If you are staying at a WDW resort there is also a special for $85/person that pays for a 1 day/2 park ticket plus transportation back and forth. If you are one of the unfortunates who has to take a cab that's a fantastic deal.

If you are just going to see HP it is expensive. But that is kind of like going to WDW to see AdventureLand. HP is just one land in the whole park of Islands of Adventure. Then you can also visit Universal Studios park with the same ticket. I would plan at least two days to see everything and three would be better.
