Prices on upgradeing tickets

I know that I am asking this a week before our trip, but I was just wandering if anyone would have any idea of how much would it to upgrade the single ticket we get with the dining plan from a 1 day to a 3 day. I have tried to do some research and I am not having to much luck. Thanks in advance.

If you use it first, the ticket you purchased with your package will be worth $75 (plus tax), assuming it's a 1-day base ticket (no hopping or water park options). A 3-day base ticket is $212 (plus tax). So, you'd pay the difference, which is $137, plus tax.

If you booked your package before Aug. 3 when ticket prices went up, your ticket is worth what it cost at booking. If you use it first, it then becomes worth $75 towards your upgrade. You can upgrade the ticket at Guest Relations inside any park.

did the cost to make a ticket a hopper increase as well as ticket prices? I got just the basic tickets and want to upgrade to a hopper (we have 3 day tickets). Should we use them first, or doesn't that make a difference? We purchased them before August 3rd.

Yes, I think it's now $50 to add park-hopper. Go ahead and use the tickets first, then add the park-hopper option. It will still be $50, but you won't have to pay the difference between the old price of your base ticket and the new price. It's almost always a good plan to use a ticket before you upgrade it, to be sure you get gate price for it when you upgrade.

I thought that was the case, but wasn't sure. We'll be sure to use them first, THEN change them to hoppers!
