They were metal in April on the Dream. Tasted fine. I think I paid $27 for a 12 pack.

They were metal on the wish this past April, only bought a six pack. I think it was around 15.00 plus tax. We did not like the taste drinking from the can or poured in a glass.

I don’t enjoy drinking straight from a metal water can, either - it reminds me of canteens from my youth.

I would recommend trying one before the cruise. It will be Dasani onboard.

And it’s only purified water. I’d rather bring a water bottle and fill it from the water dispensers on the walking deck or the water from the drinks fountains.

Are the bottles from room service also metal? I think I might want one to take on an excursion.

In March, I paid for a 24-pack pre-cruise. It was $55 plus tax. I forget if I also paid gratuity on top of that.

A 6 pack is $15. 12 pack is $30. 24 is $60. On top of that you pay an 18% gratuity. Not cheap. It is Dasani in the metal cans. We ordered it for our Feb cruise and did not enjoy the taste at all. Of course, everyone is different so you may enjoy the taste.

Once on board, you can also order smart water which in larger plastic bottles. I can't remember the price

Still metal bottles and the taste is “funky”

We brought our own brita bottles. Always easy to fill up. I don't like the taste of the metal and a pack of water was annoying to bring on. We did that too and hardly used any.

On the July 24 sailing of the Disney Wonder to Alaska, they tried to give us water in cans, which wasn’t really helpful - no way to close once they were opened. I called to request the bottles, originally they said they didn’t have any bottles, but eventually they managed to find the Smart Water in metal bottles.

This happened to us this summer on the Fantasy as well. I thought I had ordered the bottles from the picture but it was actually cans, which are weird and impractical. They quickly delivered the metal Smart water bottles when I called to question it, which tells me this is pretty common.
