Prices of souviners

Can anyone tell me the prices of t-shirts, mugs, etc that would be on CC or on the ship? I am trying to budget for souviners. I am notorisously cheap lol but for the cruise I definately want some physical memories, especially for the kids. Thanks!

Ill just tell you the peice of things we bought.

I know theres more because I remember we spent over $200 on souviners, but this is all I can remember right now sorry. Hope it helps some.

i'm all for saving some $$$...

got mickey t-shirts for our DSs, from the local disney store, had guest services have the characters sign that. cute little gifts, that the boys love wearing! and they reminicse about our vacation, and how they want to go again!

have a friend, who has a daughter who ADORES disney princesses, picked up a pricesses t-shirt (again, from local disney store), and left it for guest services, and had all the princesses sign. she loves it!

others do pillow cases, caps, etc.

FREE souvenirs...if your children attend the club, they had a pumba's pj party event, where the kids get to color pillow cases, that they get to keep. nice little souvenir!

oh, another FREE sourvenir...kids get a t-shirt, when they attend that discover the magic show, that they have at the end of the cruise. and if they don't you can go ask the counselors, and they might let you have one. (tip i got from here...) anyways, i knew our DSs were getting their t-shirts, so we only bought them this really cool castaway cay t-shirts.

and if you bring autograph books & i'm sure you'll bring your camera...you've got tons of "physical" memories!!

I understand that there is a captain hat with mouse ears that you can buy on the ship? Does anyone know how much these cost? Is there anywhere else you can buy them? I'd like to give them to my kids before we go. Can you have them personalized, like the hats at WDW?

The Captain Mickey hat is adorable. My DS7 has one and was saluted as he walked through the ship and even by people at MCO. I don't believe you can get them anywhere other than onboard. I think it was about $15-20. I don't believe there is anywhere to have it personalized. But if you can get them to wear it and have a picture with Mickey when he is in his Captain's outfit. That's a great picture.

Travel Mugs for coffee and so on are $15.
Trading pins are 6.50 - around $18.00.
Sweatshirts - expensive.
Beach Bag with DCL Logo, $40.00
Beach Towels - $20.00
Hats - $18.00
Magic Cruise Ship with Characters - $40.00
DCL Bus with Ship on wheels $10.00

There are souveniers exclusive to Castaway Cay that should budget for. Hats, t-shirts, pins etc.

Wow...this is a great thread. I'm really starting to save some money now for our trip next MAY!! I have $$set aside for the tips already...next parking...then SOUVINER money!!!

I plan to splurge...so this gives me a great idea of things to buy and how much money to save up!!!!!

The adult sweatshirt was $50 ?! That is what I'd planned on buying for myself next time...but I am way too cheap...maybe I'll go with one of the nightgowns...you're talking about the gray sweatshirt with the characters across the chest, no hood ? I didn't see the shot glasses, that is usually my souvenir of choice because it is cheap, useful, and doesn't take up much room ! Speaking of which...in Cozumel I bought a beach survival kit...both shot glasses had sayings in very poor taste, I made the clerks switch them out...I'm not a prude but these were very BAD !!! To anyone buying the beach kit...LOOK INSIDE !!!
