What kind of prices will I be paying for offsite breakfast buffets? What are some nice choices, taking quality and price into account. The prices of the Character Buffets really scare me.
I am still wondering if they are REALLY worth it?

Character Breakfasts are a great way to get good Pics for your album. I find that the breakfast is fine but you don't get to enjoy it. We use to go to one each time we went to DW but it is a bit annoying after a swhile. If you are just going to eat then no it isn't worth it you can get better food at another place but for the video and the still shots and not having to wait in line for a character it is great.

It looks like we think the same way. I save
wherever I can, and the character buffets
scare me also. I don't know if the prices
have increased since last year but we had
a great br. buffet at the Sizzler? It is
located near Walgreens down from Crossroads.
It was only $3.99 plus the drink and I also
had a coupon from a booklet. They had a good
variety of food to eat and it was really a
bargain for the money. We also ate a br.
buffet at Ponderosa? (I am not good at
remembering names a year later) LOL It was a
little higher, but was also good. I believe
that they are both located on SR 535 at the
end of Hotel Plaza Blvd. I go every year and
always look for ways to save $$ Have fun,
hope this helps.

I forgot to mention that you can get great
shots of the characters in the parks. Last
year we got so many wonderful pics. of so
many characters. We found Donald Duck all
by himself at MGM, nobody around. The best
ones we got were at Epcot when the character
bus came around. We got Mickey, Minnie and
the whole gang. It was so much fun. You can
look in the Epcot brochure to see what time
they come around.:bounce:

We ate at ponderosa last year, it was ok. If you go get there
very early when the food is just taken out and it is not so
crowded. I also was wondering if anyone knew of a dinner
near disney that served just regular eggs, homefries and toast.
Nothing fancy, just a typical breakfast special. Thank you:earsgirl:

they have an ice cream social at the garden grille rest. in Epcot (at the land) it is about 6-7 $ each and the characters are there(including Mickey)! It is a cheaper alternative to a breakfast buffet, and the kids will love it! I know I do!!
