Are you staying at a DVC resort with a kitchen?
Most of the hotel resort gift ships likely won't have eggs, butter, or cereal boxes (except single size). They might have milk and bread. The gift shops attached to DVC will have some of those things and I'd expect to spend about 50% more than you do at home for them.

What does a case of water go for on resorts (CBR) for example? Are these the 1/2 liter sizes?

Thanks !

I don't think you'll find a case of water at the resorts.

I think your best bet would be to order groceries from a service like Garden Grocer rather than depending on the limited offerings of the resort shops. Also, if you join the (free) members program at Staples they'll deliver cases of water for free.

I am trying to recall... I thought on my last trip that a box of cereal was 5-7.00- and eggs were like a 1/2 dozen for 3-4.00(?) it's pricey, but cheaper than buying breakfast out daily,if you have a family to feed.

A while back, I had heard that the gift shops on the resorts were selling water by the case, which is why I asked. We do you We Go Shop to get breakfast items delivered, but mainly stuff that is quick and easy in the morning (cereal, yogurt, fruit, milk) so we can eat and go right from our room.

I believe a half gallon of milk was $2.99, which is a gallon of milk at home (actually just paid $1.89 for a gallon of skin at Costco today).

In November the case of water (I believe 24 -12oz bottles) was on the order of 6$.

We got eggos, cereal, English muffins, and milk from the store and acquired butter and cream cheese from the resort quick service as I recall...The prices were less than getting these few items from grocery deliver because I would have had to pay a fee for not hitting the threshold this trip.

Water by the case was AWESOME!

Google "DVC Grocery Order Form" and look at some of the PDFs that are available. DVC provides lists of the food that is available in the DVC resort stores. That will give you an idea of the price. Everything is marked up pretty heavily except for bread products I think, and that is only because those have the price printed right on the sleeve. Non DVC resorts won't have nearly the same selection, but it gives you an idea.
