Has anyone ever tried to get a room through Priceline for 2 adults and 3 children (yongest one sleeps in parents bed)?

Is there anyway we can do this without having to order 2 rooms?

check out the www.biddingfortravel.com website and see which hotels have won. we travel as 3 adults and one child and in orlando area have always been able to (after the fact) request a room with 2 double beds. GENERALLY, most of the major hotels 3-4 star in that area and you should be OK. I find two instances with priceline that you have be worried:
1) some of the 2.5 star are suite hotels and sometimes they only have one double bed and a sofa (that does not pull out)
2) IN "OLDER" cities some of the 4 star hotels are older and have rooms with only 1 queen bed.
If you feel you need to order 2 rooms, you can probably find a reservation at a comfort inn for less than the cost of two 3 * priceline rooms

I used priceline last week to book a room for the 4th of July. 2 adults, 1 infant, 1 night only. I pick a resort hotel it was either 4 or 4.5 stars. We got the Wyndam Palace near DTD for $70 a night. I checked the rates if you book through the Wyndam site and it was $120 a night.

I agree with Rpsemont... www.biddingfortravel.com rocks! I studied it (very important!) and decided to go for it. Got the Gaylord Palms for $85/night for part of our stay. It appears as though the regular rates are $199/up a night.

and got the dolphin for our july trip 16 - 24 for $96 a night.
our AP rate was $160.

Very few people have been unable to get 2 beds with PL IN ORLANDO. Most of the hotels are geared toward families and as a result the vast majority of the hotel rooms have 2 beds.

You have no guarantee but history is on your side.

In other cities (like NY) many of the hotel rooms only fit one bed.
