What is the lowest price you have ever requested for a hotel on Priceline? What was the star rating and did you get the hotel? I am considering using this for our trip, I would like to here some of your past experiences. I would like to try and get Days Inn Anaheim West for $29 a night (wishful thinking! :lmao:).

We got Anaheim Crowne Plaza for $50.00 a night last March - They do charge $12.00 a daily fee on top of this so the actual fee was $62.00. 3+ star hotel. It's about 1 maybe 1 1/2 miles from Disney but they do have a shared shuttle for the hotels - Not the ART bus.

Biddingfortravel has a great FAQ section that will answer your questions about strategy.

Both sites are great resources, though most people posting are only bidding on 3.5 or 3 star hotels because of the way bidding strategies work.

I believe the cheapest hotel is the ExtendedStay on Katella - 1 star. I've won it for $26, though I've seen it as low as $25. I don't know about the hotel you are looking at - I have never successfully bid on a 2, 2.5 or 3 star. Most of the hotels won are 3.5 stars which always have some sort of fee for parking or internet.

Here are hotels I've won

Disneyland Garden Grove/Orange
Crowne Plaza (3.5 star) $44/night
Hyatt Orange County (was a 3.5, now a 4 star) $41/night
Hilton Garden Inn (3 star) $42/night
Extended Stay Katella (1 star) $26/night

Disneyland Anaheim area
Holiday Inn Hotel and Suites (3 star) $42/night-no parking/internet fees though

Haha, I am on betterbidding.com right now. :) The website is a little hard to navigate. Wherever I am on here I did a search for "Disneyland" And only 5 posts came up.

On Betterbidding you should go to the forum for California and then look under the subforum for "Orange County Priceline"

Definitely, check out the Biddingfortravel FAQ. On Biddingfortravel you can scroll down and see the "California-Disneyland/Orange County" subforum.

Holiday Inn Anaheim Resort on S Manchester Avenue for $39 a night. I did a bid for disneyland area 2.5 stars and the moved me up to 3 stars. No parking fee. No internet fee.

If you bid 3 stars they will most likely move you up to 3.5 and thats where the hotels start charging for parking and internet.
