I know that Priceline normally has a "no cancellation under any circumstances" policy. We had a car rental reservation with Budget via Priceline tonight, and it would be a little hard to do the pickup since the airport is closed. I called their toll free number, and after enduring 20 minutes of unescapable accouncements, I finally reached a human. She asked my problem and I explained that I have a car rental and that airport is closed. She really had no option but to offer a refund without penalty (if she hadn't, I think I would have grounds to dispute it on my charge card, since I would have no way to obtain the service I paid for). Now I just have to figure out how to reschedule our cancelled ATA flight. They want you to fly within a limited window when you reschedule, but we already have flights booked on them bi-weekly through the end of Oct. so that will be a little hard.
