Priceline success/DTD hotels??

Have you done Priceline or a similar service for a DTD hotel and if so, what parameters did you put in and what hotel did you win? Did you use 3 stars/4 stars, etc. What price did you end up paying?

Go over to www.biddingfortravel.com and look at the Orlando thread. She has the hotels and the areas. My suggestion is not to bid if you can't take anything.

I have done 4star/resort for Disney and gotten the following:
DTD Hilton
DTD Wyndam Palace
Marriott Orlando World Center.

As you can see at least one of the hotels you can get is not a DTD hotel.

Plus you can see what the going rate is. I paid in the $70 to $80 range, but that was a while ago and bids have been going up over there!

Yep i've got The Hilton twice, and MOWC once. Can't remember the bids, but do factor in the resort fee which is extra and payable locally I think, as is daily parking if you get the MOWC and have a car.If you don't have a car there is no courtesy transportation from the MOWC.
