You guys have a wealth of knowledge so I thought I would see what you all had to say.

I'm heading to Vegas for the first time next month for a conference. I'm flying in a day earlier just for fun- but will need a hotel. I've never used Priceline before so I'm thinking it might be a fun experiment to see where I end up. I want to stay on the strip but I don't think I really care which hotel- I suppose that is the best time to use Priceline!

Please share your Priceline experiences- Vegas or other- good and bad.

Thanks!

I'm staying on a Priceline bid coming up in Orlando in a few days at the Marriott World. I bid $85. Go to betterbidding.com to get a list of hotels and amenities for Vegas. They'll also give you a range to bid for a certain hotel.

Yes. I recommend going to the bidding for travel sight.
Here's the link:Bidding for travel

They have a list of all the hotels that use pricline.
Also the have tips from other people on what they bid.

I used priceline the other day for the first time and I requested a 3 star hotel in Baltimore. I bid $53 and we ended up staying at a Marriott! It was a good experience!
