ok,so I've been in a tizzy today,worried about car rental prices.....so.....(I'm a dummy,let's get that straight)
I found a site called breezenet. searched around,discovered it's owned by priceline,which is why the PL window popped up when I typed in my dates,etc. what I DIDN'T see was the original dates/locations I typed in had been altered on the priceline popup
the price was Cheap,such a deal! non refundable,etc etc.
ack- it wasn't till we purchased,and printed out the details that the line "drop off,same location" was visible. WHAT??!?!
Panic time, we need to drop off about 900 miles away
ACK! this isn't saving us,it's going to cost us!
...But...
I called PL,and magically,they said they would refund the cost!!!!!
I had no idea,and figured this would be my stupid lesson of the day.....
I just wanted to share,as the pop window with the good rate was NOT entirely clear (couldn't see the search parameters)- but I was STUPID enough to purchase quickly. so thank you Price line,I will be checking your site again!
