If you bid in that zone ONLY, you will NOT get a hotel in any other zone. There is no guarantee that your bid will be accepted, but if it is, you would ONLY be put in the zone you bid on.
As I mentioned in your previous post, go to biddingfortravel.com for specific help with bidding. If you provide them with the appropriate info (and the administrator tells you EXACTLY what info is needed) you will receive help with your bid--when to bid, what bid to start with and how high you should go.
Follow this link to see the bidding assistance form:

It is important that you follow the instructions--they help to you get FREE rebids if your initial bid is rejected.
Sheryl, the administrator, can seem a bit harsh or strict, but the info she requires (and is strict about) is what guides her so that she can provide you with a winning strategy.
My gut feeling is that if you are thinking about bidding for a hotel in July, she will most likely tell you it is too soon to bid. I didn't bid for our room (stayed Feb 04) until December 03.
THis is a good thing, as it gives you time to wait and see if cheaper rates will come out for any of the universal hotels. Staying at, say, The Royal Pacific would mean a more relaxing time for you and your hubby-to-be! You would have so much more time, with being able to walk to the parks and take your time (FOTL!!). Of course, if this doesn't work out, priceline is a great alternative.
Good luck!
