Priceless / National "disconnect"?

I notice that at pricelessvacations.com, the site now only makes reference to Alamo as a car rental agency. I wonder if the excellent discount code for National rentals will be disappearing at some point.

I know Priceless also had a $15 off coupon for National, but that one has an expiration date of 12/31/04. I went to their site hoping to find one that was still valid in '05. (The reservation engine accepts the coupon code, but the expiration date is pretty clear on the coupon itself.)

Most likely scenario seems to be that this is part of National's transition from a leisure to business orientation.

Any thoughts/rumors/real info on this situation?

All I can tell you is that I used the priceless contract code at National last week at the Tampa airport along with a $20 entertainment book coupon with no problems or questions asked. I would try the code on a National reservation online. If they no longer accept it, it will tell you it is invalid when you try to make a reservation.

Hi, I PMed you and sent you the link for the 2005 $20 coupon to use. I found the link on the boards and saved it. I used the priceless code in December and it was not a problem. I actually used the priceless code 5 times last year and not a problem. Good luck!

The Priceless contract ID unquestionably still works with the National reservation system, and it will continue until it doesn't. (Can't argue with that logic, right?)

I'm mostly wondering about 1 - if the relationship between the two companies may be ending soon, and 2 - if there's been any sign of a new coupon code for Priceless to replace the older one that expires tomorrow (not to be confused with the entertainment coupon, to which n2mm already pointed me).
