Price of sodas?

How much do sodas cost if you buy them individually during the day? And do you receive a can, or a cup of soda with ice, or? I'm trying to decide whether or not the refillable mug will be economical. I'll probably buy sodas when eating fast food at Pluto's, etc. and at Castaway Cay. I'm also hesitant to buy a mug because I don't like the idea of lugging a mug around with me all day long on the ship, having to wash it out, etc. I sure wish DCL would let us opt for the sticker program if we don't want the mug! So how much do sodas cost and what do you get? Thanks!

We found that allowing the kids to have soda with sitdown meals provided more than enough soda-was glad the soda mug line was long when we boarded. It saved us money!!

Mrspotatohead, I'm also interested in the cost of sodas for the same reasons you are. I'm a diet coke lover but don't want to carry a mug around. My last cruise, 5 yrs. ago on Princess, the soft drinks were $1.75 plus tip for a very small glass. Can anyone tell us what they charge on Disney cruises?

If I remember it's $1.50 + gratiuity. Soda is served in a SMALL glass with a lot of ice, probably about half a can in there. We don't drink much soda, only had it at dinner and used the drink station on deck 9 for lemonade. Worked GREAT. On our 7 night, we won't be buying the mugs!!

this may be old info, but I believe the prices are $15, $20 or $35 - it is $5 per night.

So, the 3-night is $15, 4-night is $20, and 7-night is $35.
Quite a bit for "soda" but you get a souvenier mug. If your family members are big soda drinkers then it's probably worth it.

the above poster is correct. We were on the Wonder for New Years and the sodas are 1.50 plus a 15% tip. I did see however that they now have beverage packages.. beer. soda and water. The soda package and water cost the same = 7.50 for a 6 pack. That would save you a bit... paying for it separatly would be %1.50 plus 15% tip.

The drink mugs or at the least the one I got had these where you can put it around your neck. I did that all the time and did not loose it. Mater of fact I still have the mug today. The mug is only 35.00 for the whole cruise. Hope I was a little help.
