I saw many types of balloons at DLR this last trip and I know they are always re-inventing them. So, they probably won't even have these when I finally get my kids out there but I want to know the price for one specific type. How much is the Mickey head inside the clear one with the flashing light? How long did your flashing light last? How long did your balloon stay inflated? I thought I saw some where Mickey looked a little deflated and thought it may be due to the cold and wondered if he would perk back up in some heat?

The balloon you're talking about is $12. And we bought ours the week of Oct. 11th. We only used the light probably a total of about 48 hours (it was on every night for hours while we were at Disneyland and about another week every night after we got home), so it's still as good as new. The white balloon inside is only just a bit deflated. And the clear one outside is deflating faster. Here's a pic:

The light up mickey one is the best balloon I have ever bought. We had to let the air out of ours after maybe 8 days to go back home, took it apart and brought it all home. The light still works a year and 1/2 later, my daughter plays with it, it's just this stick thing and now it's all bent and it still blinks away. I so wish balloons could go on the airplane back home.

Good to hear because I thought I heard someone say something about $24 :scared1: so they must have bought 2.

Thanks for all the info

A friend and her family were coming back from DL in June and at the last minute (at the gate) Alaska airlines told the kids not to "throw" their balloons away. They took them and then gave them back to the kids when they de-planed. I don't think that is common though. :confused3

We brought our balloon back on Air Canada in February. I thought it might explode from the change in Air pressure but no problem.
One ear of the Mickey did deflate the day after we bought it and I guess we could have exchanged it.....but it was kind of funny
