Price Increase when Canceling due to Hurricane?

I'm sorry you had to go through that. I really am. However, this thread is "Price Increase when Cancelling due to Hurricane?"

I'm not going to go back and reread all the posts but from what I read it seems that most people just want to rebook at the rate that they booked at. When I tried to rebook it was a substantially higher. They weren't giving the early booking rates back to people that had to cancel which is nit very fair IMO. This was a freak thing. Would it have really hurt them to rebook at the same rate?? I think not. I have to rebook all my events that were canceled at work and I rebook them at the same rate even though they were in a cheaper season rate, not a big deal. We win some, we lose some.
