Price increase question..

My closing company just received closing documents from the seller and me so I was told I will be notified when closed. my other question is can I call DVC today and start to have them look for BCV pts that's where I bought or look at other resorts not sure when I can do this . I want to buy 25 direct before the prices go up on the 17th

You need to be in the DVC system with a member number before you can do a 25 pt add on. So soon but not yet.

Also by no means should you plan on easily getting the BCV points. Prices are rising so much because demand for those points call for it.

I’d call now and tell your guide that you want those 25 points. It will take a while to find them. Give them a heads up.

The Guide has said he can't even look, reserve, wait-list or anything until we're in their system; that he can check each day to see when we've been added but otherwise nothing can be done until then. Title company under-sold how quickly it takes too -- like I said, it's been 7 days and counting since Disney had it after close and deed recording, with no end in sight.

It was running 14 days from deed recording to getting a membership number 6 months ago, and dropped into the 8-10 day range in September/October. Since you're at 7 days already, I'd give them a call once a day from here on out.

Your guide is correct. If you want a 25 point add-on, you'll be going onto the wait list, which requires a membership number.
