Maybe it's just me but I was looking at my Anniversary menu I got at Citricos in June 2011 and comparing it to the Allears menus updated July 2011.

HUGE price increases.

The sauteed shrimp appetizer was $9 is now $14? Up 55%?

The Oak Filet of Beef was $38 now $41? Up 8%

That is ridiculous. Just about every single item is up $3-$7. Is Disney trying to totally end dining for people?

I am at the wall with dining and it takes quite a bit to get me there. If this is across the board at all restaurants we will go offsite next time. :sad2:

The sauteed shrimp has been $14 for quite a while, and the filet has been at least $40 since last year. Could you post a pic of your 2011 anniversary menu? Those low prices don't sound right.

I am now wondering if they gave us old menus for our Anniversary. I mean we are on the DDP I would never question the prices and I don't analyze the bill because we are on the DDP. If I hadn't notice the prices when I was looking at Citricos menu for information I would never even have questioned it.

How could I tell this?

I will post picture tomorrow if I can.

I have a picture of Citricos's menu from June 7th, 2011. The shrimp is shown as $14, but the suggested wine pairing right below it is $9. The filet is $41, but the short ribs are $38 (and still are). Those prices are exactly the same now.

I agree with your overall point - Disney's food prices have increased a lot over the past few years. I just don't think Citricos is particularly guilty of anything over the past few months (the one dish on the menu where I found a price increase is the crab pavé, which went up from $12 to $15).
