Price increase at Cape May???

O.k. I just ate there in June and I know I did not pay $42 per person, so what did I miss? When did the prices go up? I am so disappointed and I refuse to pay that much per person for a buffet! Wouldn't it make more sense to dine at a true signature restaurant if you are going to send that much? This has thrown me for a loop because all my ADR's were set. Now I have to find a replacement.

If you look far enough, you'll find a 5 page thread about this.

Apparently allearsnet AND wdwinfo posted the summer peak prices for most of the buffets. Summer peak pricing ended yesterday, so they should go back down.

The best advice given on the other thread is to call Disney Dining to ask what the price will be when you visit.

When had dinner there on June 20 & June 26 (looking at my receipts now) we paid $39.99 per/person.

That was before our TIW discount (thank goodness for that!)

I called Disney Dining the other day to get prices for Sept so we could get an idea how much to budget for tips as we will be a party of 6 & they add 18% for tips. Cape May (dinner) was quoted as $38.33 adult/18.10 child, tax included. CM did say tho that all prices were subject to change. .
