Price for Minnie's?

Thanks! You have already answered my next question. I need gluten free pancakes, and waffles and I wasn't sure about how Minnie's was about doing this. What else did you get specially prepared or that was GF friendly?
Adam made me 4 mini waffles, bacon, offered eggs but I cannot have those, sausage and then cooked up special for me a glaze free ham and some hash browns. Goofy's had a chef that made me gluten free pancakes and mini waffles but Adam spent like 5 minutes or more talking with me about my needs which is multiple allergies/sensitivities, SID/SPD, religion - no booze, and pickynees like no lobsters with bulging eyes staring at me. I only normally tell chefs about GF, soy and eggs though and have had no problems with my diet so far.. Adam just made me feel so special and I would eat there every morning for breakfast if I was rich. Ariel's also is very good with gluten free but I have not done a breakfast there.

Here is what I posted yesterday in another thread.

The price is a moving target, it seems. LOL

I was quoted $26.09A/$13.04 today for off-peak pricing the first week of June. I called back two more times to determine if that was including tax and gratuity. One CM said yes, it did. The second said, no, it wasn't. If tax and gratuity are indeed not included then the adult price is around $32 and kids is around $16. All three mentioned that was the June price TODAY but could change.

The recent peak season price this spring was $34.68/$17.34. I imagine summer peak pricing will be similar or a bit higher.

*sigh* It's clear as mud. I am only writing this because I spent such an inordinate amount of time today trying to get an answer. I dislike Minnie's, to be honest, but I was over-ruled by 4 character-loving men in my family. It seems to be costing nearly the same as our Goofy's brunch if I believe that tax and gratuity are added and I don't get it.

Do they add a gratuity at Minnies? I know that you are not waited on like at goofys. i thought i remembered not having to prepay a gratuity at minnies. Anyone been recently?

Maybe that is the key to the confusion. I honestly thought we did pay a tip last year and I know we received beverages from a server (someone mentioned a self-service drink station and I never saw it because a waitress brought drinks - it's like we ate in a different restaurant altogether ... much of the food others mention was also MIA) but it is possible they do not, I would think!

ETA: I am 110% sure of my facts here - a server brought us drinks at Minnie's. In fact, she is in our pics. I was just talking to DH and our operating theory for the differences in our experience is that it was the last seating of the day and they wanted us out of there! :-)

Also, I would not consider Minnie's a buffet. It is a cafeteria - which is one reason I am not a fan, reminds me of high school waiting in line to be dished up food! Goofy's, which we've eaten at too, is a traditional buffet.

We're going fairly soon, I'd be glad to report back unless someone else does sooner.

No tip needed as you get your own food, drinks and other stuff like a buffet.

Goofy's is where you have a buffet but they have staff bringing you new plates and drinks.

Minnies is my favourite place to eat along with Taste Pilot's Grill.
