Ok, I'm a newbie on this board. We are Disney nuts and have gone many times. Kids are now DD5 and DS3. We won't be cruising for about 3-4 years, but I am now wondering what it would cost. Two adults, 2 kids - nice cabin, probably in June, July timeframe. Can you give me a guess of what a 7-day cruise is costing people right now?

I need to budget cheap vacations for the next 2-3 years so we can afford our cruise. Thanks for your help as I obsessively plan for my next 5 years of happy Disney vacations!!

A lot would depend on your definition of a "nice cabin" for some people that would be a cat.11 and for some it would be the Cat.1 walt disney suite. It also depends on the age of your children, infants are a negotiable amount- just port taxes I believe where as a 13 year old is charged an adult rate if I am correct.

This is great! Just what I needed. I will bookmark it and keep it for future reference. Thanks JOC!!

For June 2003:

For 2 adults, 2 children, Category 6 (Stateroom with Veranda) for 7 night Western booked through DCL (No transfers or insurance).

$4375.08

P.S. - booked in January 2003

The price you get will vary GREATLY depending upon the Early Booking Savings tier that the sailing is in. The sooner you book the better your price. To get the best possible price book as soon as the sailing date you're interested in is available to book. :)

Thanks for the helpful replies. After looking at the price list JOC supplied, I kind of was estimating about $5000 for 2 adults/2 kids. Of course, lots can change in a couple years, but that would be a rough estimate. Plus all the incidentals and airfare of course. YIKES! I have a lot to save!

Thanks again to all!

Hi Cameo. There was a thread a while back concerning off-peak sailing times and parents' preferences toward removing children from school. If you looked into alternative months the price structure might prove worthwhile. Remember, you also need to factor in the cost of transportation, pictures, spa treatments (if applicable), shore excursions, souvenirs, inflation (if planning years in advance) and, to quote Ule Brenner in The King And I, "Etcetera. Etcetera. Etcetera."...
