Looking at identical itineraries for Freedom and Independence for July 2022.

Both sail 4-night itineraries to Nassau, CocoCay and Grand Bahamas.
Freedom sails out of MIA, and had Royal Amplifications early 2020, sails out of Miami, and has Perfect Storm, Lime & Coconut, Giovanni's, El Loco Fresh, Playmakers, & Laser Tag.
Indy sails at out MCO, and had Royal Amplification earlier, and has the same but also has the Sky Pad and Fish & Ships.

But for the same dates and same stateroom (using VP suite as a comparator for a party of 4), Indy sailings seem to be $1000 Cdn more Not much difference for an inside stateroom however.

Any idea why Indy would be priced more ? Can't imagine it would be the Sky Pad and Fish 7 Ships. Is it related to sailing out of MCO/Port Canaveral?

I can't imagine that there is that significant a difference between a sailing out of Miami or Port Canaveral.

I would think that port fees and distanced travelled might be a factor. Probably not a 1k factor, but it's something.

Is the suite age a thing? Would it cost more to get a suite created after amplification versus an existing suite?

Sometimes it's just if more suites are sold on a cruise the price goes up. So there may be fewer suites left on the one cruise.

As a frequent cruiser we have noticed several instances over the years where Port Canaveral departures are significantly more expensive for all room types but itinerary and ship is similar. We have noticed this at certain times of year including summer and school breaks.
