I just received a registration to preview Pandora!!!!!:cloud9: So excited to go. Now my only trouble is getting off the Disney Dream and getting to AK. Now I'm really thinking about getting a rental car one-way or private car.
But still very excited!!!pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:pixiedust:

You should plan to do the "walk off with no assistance." On Sunday's Wonder cruise, those folks left the ship at 7. You would be fine.

What time did you get ? We heard about a 2 day preview but never saw anything official. Did get an announcement for annual pass holders and ended up getting a noon to 2pm on the 15th or 16th (don't remember which right now). Friend tried from time lines opened until she got through, all times filled already. We had to drop our Dinner - Rivers of Light reservation however were able to get fast pass so no harm.

Only time for DVC preview was daily 9-11am same dates as the AP previews.

We booked it too. We have May 13. I believe that only dvc members who had reservations during that timeframe were able to book this preview and they were the ones who got the email. We had to put our reservation number and resort into the form to sign up.

I was so happy to see they set it up thusly, only seems fair. Wish Epcot Soarin' Wednesday's were set up thusly, shut out for 3 trips thus far this year (well, 4th of July week there is none) despite being on the phone @ 9 am each time.

Will say that I didn't get either email from DVC or APH until the afternoon. If not for an email from Kenny the pirate I'd have never know in time as I saw others reporting no availability for APH by then. DVC was still open my dates mid May but friend who is local says many dates were not available for APH holders the end of May.

We never received an email from DVC or from AP (we are both) but DH read about the Passholder Previews on Facebook and immediately registered us for May 19 - then started looking for a place to stay. We're out of points (again) so are booked at Pop for 5 nights. Then we read about the DVC previews and were able to book one for May 20. An onsite stay was required, but it didn't have to be at a DVC resort. DH had to enter our member number and our resort confirmation number, and there were check boxes to indicate whether you were at a DVC resort or another WDW resort.

We never received any emails either and are both DVC and AP. I also have a room booked May 11-13. We are also out of points so I went ahead and booked a room at Pop for the 20th and was able to get the DVC preview for the 21st.

This will be our first DVC special event, so excited! Does anyone have any idea how crowded they usually are? Do you think that everyone will have the chance to ride both rides in the two hour window? We are really hoping so :thumbsup2

This is the first time WDW has held a DVC preview, to my knowledge. There were Passholder previews for NFL, but I don't think DVC members were included (I could be wrong about that) and I'm pretty sure DVC didn't have their own event. So we have nothing to go on as far as predicting how crowded this might be; just have to hope :scared: that Disney limited the number of people in each slot to the number that they felt could reasonably experience the two attractions and the rest of Pandora in a two-hour span. Edited to add: hope their forecast was right!
