When we were there in May about 10:45, the line was way out past the bridge going toward Gaston's Tavern. A CM kept coming through saying they were having technical difficulties with their cash registers. Once they finally opened, the line moved fairly quickly though. Then just as we got to the end of the bridge there was another CM saying they were still having some technical difficulties and you could pay with cash or cc, but they were unable to take gift cards or the DDP at that time. They said if you wanted to use the DDP, to pay for it, and they would give you a receipt/note and you could get it straightened out later at your resort guest services. I had wanted to use a Disney gift card, but no way was I getting out of that line after waiting for over an hour. We just paid with a cc.
