Oh wise and all-knowing WDW food lovers, I need your help!

My TENTH anniversary trip is at the beginning of May  and we are sooo excited! :woohoo: We have never left the kids for more than a night (Why??) so this is going to be great! Anyway, dining will be an important part of the trip, and my husband is a mega-steak lover. We will be there on Wednesday through Saturday. We are planning on purchasing the DDP. After much lurking on this board I have narrowed it down to California Grill, Yachtsmans, Le Cellier, and Bistro de Paris. Obviously, one of these will have to be a lunch. And, one of these will take two credits, and something OOP. Am I getting too confusing? Even another wrench to throw in: my husband's birthday is on Wed night, and our anniversary on Thurs night.

So with all that information I just threw at you, what do you think? Do you have any advice for me? I have never eaten at any of these restaurants, so I am just going on the recommendation of others. Any help will be GREATLY appreciated! :cake: party:

Have had wonderful lunches at Le Cellier, and fantastic dinners at CG (always at Wishes times)...those would be my choices. Don't know if anyone has had it before, but I had a pan-fried rainbow trout salad at LeCellier that I haven't forgotten, four years later. Wonder if they still offer it.

I totally think that you should do the Bistro De Paris for your Anniversary.. how romantic! And for that Steak lovin hubby of yours California Grill for dinner on his B-day!!

Le Cellier would make for an incredible lunch/ break from the heat at Epcot and is wonderful!

Yachtsman... another mid day extravaganza!!

You'll have a great time!!

Don't forget to tell them ahead of time about your celebrations! You never know what you might get... You can also pay to get a birthday cake for your hubby as a surprise. There are threads about it on here somewhere!

I haven't eaten at any of them yet, but we just made our ADR's for June and they were already starting to fill up, so call ASAP!

Have fun!!!

You might want to consider Hoop-Dee-Doo Musical Revue. You will have a really good time and sometimes that cast will have you come up and participate!

My husband is a mega steak person too. And I'd recommend Le Cellier for lunch. It's a great break from everything and not that crowded at all. For his birthday or your anniversary dinner, I would recommend Yachtsman Steakhouse. I know a lot of people will go for California Grill but our time there was loud and not that intimate. Yachtsman, for me, is much more adult and away from the theme parks. And it's not open for lunch. I'd much rather do Chefs de France for another dinner. Make it late and watch everyone leaving after Illuminations. They don't kick you out of the restaurant.
