Preteen club Age flexibility??

We wil be on the Fantasy next July 4th and one of children will be just 2 weeks from turning 11yrs old. Will Disney be flexible at all when the age requirement is 11-14? His Brothers will be 13 and 14 and I know he'll want to be with them.

DS was able to go when he was 10 on the Wonder March '14. We just had to sign a release that it was ok for him to come and go.

It is entirely possible they will let your DS age up to the Edge, but you won't know for sure until you are on the cruise. It partly depends on the number of kids in each age group.

Just 2 weeks from a birthday shouldn't be a problem. Kids more than a couple months will depend on the numbers for each club on each cruise. They don't always allow 10 yos into the Edge or 13 yos into the Vibe. Both of our cruises on the Fantasy in 2012 & 2013 this wasn't allowed.

My kids have always gotten in at age 10, but we have never cruised in the Summer.

Definitely have flexibility (speaking from experience!) and they're more like 'guidelines' anyway! Ha ha, couldn't help myself from a pirate quote! Having cruise withdrawal!
