Preteen and GF spa

My DD10 and I would love to have a day to our selves while at WDW and have desided on GF spa and then tea after. Well has anyone taken their child this age to the spa? What treatments did you choose for them? What treatments did you pick for your selves? did you time it so that the timing was just right? Also if she gets the my firsts ones will she be allowed to go by herself or will I have to be there with her? Also what other thing at the spa will she be allowed to do? She has been though alot the past few years and I feel she really needs time away from her baby brother-4 and sis-1 so I want to make her feel really special this day. My daughter had the first facial and first manicure done when she was 12. She really enjoyed it and I did not have to sit with her. I had the aromatherapy bath and massage done. It was very nice and we both enjoyed it. She was done before me, she sat in the lounge and had a drink while I finished up.
The tea afterwards will be a nice touch, a nice relaxing afternoon for the both of you.
