I used to have one of the older models, years ago. It had that jiggly thing on top that would make a noise every so many seconds. It was scary! 
Lately I've seen the newer models and I'm thinking of getting one. It seems they have improved over the years.
I remember how quickly you could fix something, even frozen foods, in the pressure cooker. It would be nice for those times you didn't put something in the crock pot early in the day or you just wanted something quick and nutritious.
Anyone have one of the newer models and what do you think?

...they let the peeton pop and sometimes it hits the ceiling if something gets stuck in the hole that escapes steam...but no more blowing up.
