It's just another method of making/brewing coffee. You can buy a pressed pot relatively cheaply. I got mine at Target for less than $20.
Basically, it's a glass cylinder with a lid that has a filter that you can "press" down. You put freshly ground coffee into the glass and then fill it with hot water. You stir it and then let it brew for 3 or 4 minutes. After that, you press the filter down to the bottom of glass cylinder to remove the grounds from the coffee. (There's a handle to do that). The coffee is now ready to drink. That's probably not the best description, but I hope you can get the idea. I think coffee made this way tastes better than the "brewed" coffee that comes from coffeemakers. JMHO. YMMV.
P.S. The African coffee at BOMA and the Kona coffee at the Poly really does taste better than most store brands, and it is waaaaaay better than that stuff most of the rest of Disney serves.
