When we were there last year there was a website listed on the machines themselves. I used it for my whole trip to locate pennies. However, I have lost the link.

I remember seeing that this trip too. I should have taken a picture. It was something like CTI. It was the company that manages Disney's penny press machines.

FWIW: I read suggestions to find the copper pennies and have ended up with both on our trips. We prefer the "rainbow" effect that newer pennies get. I am working on a table top for all of our pennies, and have just about switched entirely to newer pennies for the effect.

Moral of the story...try both, you may find you like the "rainbow" pressed pennies too!!!

DH is an avid pressed penny collector and he likes presscoins.com. They have listings (under the listings tab) arranged several different ways (short description, checklist, coins that are part of a series, etc) and there is a new coins blog (under news) that gives info about updates on new designs, machine location changes, etc. that have occurred since the last update on the lists.
Disney does change, move, add, retire designs frequently. We go to Disney 3 or more times a year and there are always new designs each time we go.

I used this site and found it extremely accurate. The kids loved our treasure hunt of the pennies.When I got home I put this together in a shadow box that is now hung in our playroom! Best $56.10 souvenir in my eyes I used pennies before 1982 as they are all copper so when pressed they stay copper in color. As you can see from the picture, there is one rogue one (top middle of Mickey's head) that found it's way into our pile. When they are pressed they come out a very dark, dirty color. I cleaned them all before leaving and am super excited with the way it turned out.
