Pressed Penny Ideas

My boys LOVE the pressed pennies, but I want to think of something creative to do with them. I don't want to just put them in a book and I am NOT a scrapbooker.

I'm thinking of some sort of picture project to hang on the wall..............like framing one of our Disney pics and putting the pennies in it pic somehow.

Any ideas?????

You could put them in a shadow box with a picture.I would do two so they can each have on.I think pressed quarters might look better.Make sure you use shiney pennies

Buy a plain wood frame and glue the pennies on the frame, then spray with sealer and put a pic of the kids at Disney in the frame.
If you have ALOT of pennies I have even seen them used as a backsplash or floor. Search pinterest for penny floors/backsplash and other ideas

Thats a great idea! I have some of these pressed pennies from our last trip! I may just go onto pinterest and see some of the ideas! They are just taking up space in my junk draw right now!

Rides, gift shops, resorts, the different lands (fontierland, fantasyland)
etc. have pressed penny machines.

Pinterest has a ton of ideas for pressed pennies. There is a follower that I love. their tag name is BusinessCents. They seem to have a few ideas. I have been looking to do a frame with each Disney trip we have taken. If I ever get it done I will post some pictures.

Put them in a ketchup bath before you create..it will clean then up and they will be nice and shiny !

We like to do different little momento things as well.

Instead of an autograph book I have previously brought a photo frame mat. I had all the characters sign the frame mat and when we got home I put our favorite trip picture in the frame along with it.

We cleaned our pennies with coca cola and it worked really well!
