pressed penny books

My sons are excited to collect the pressed pennies- is there a place to buy a book to store them? Any chance of getting the book BEFORE we get there? Any list of where the various machines are?

there was a big thread about this a couple days ago with list of all the pressed pennies and their locations - maybe scan the last couple days.

we bought our penny book when we checked into the hotel.

warning: there are alot of machines and choices. We told our daughter whe could only get one penny out of each machine (there are 3 choices) and she did not actually have to fill her entire book this trip (which would cost a small fortune)

As for the book, if you only need 1 I don't think it is worth ordering ahead. They are $6 and available in most gift shops. By the time you pay for a call to disney and shipping or use an onlien service and pay shipping, it isn't worth double the cost

Can you tell me how many pennies the books hold? Also are they themed, or can you put all different ones together. in other works, one for epcot or mk?

Okay.... I just went and check ours from our January trip. They hold 36 pressed pennies and 6 pressed quarters. And it is WAAAAY easier to fill them than you think!! My kids filled one each with a few pennies left over that don't fit in!! THere are machines everywhere! But it can be lots of fun! ...................P

Each pressed penny will cost you 2 quarters plus the penny itself. We didn't do any quarters, but I believe they were 4 quarters each plus the quarter you're pressing. This was one of the coolest (and cheapest) things we did at WDW - our DDs 6 & 9 loved it! We put enough coins in our coin purse each day in the parks for them to pick out 5 each - they knew when they were done, they were done. It was fun to check out all of the machines and make choices!
