Hi:

I read somewhere that you can punch a hole in a pressed penny to make a key chain or a necklace. Does anyone know where I can get the hole punched in the penny? Maybe Target or Home Depot?

Thanks for our help,

Barbara

We just use a drill with a small bit (not sure of the size) . We have also used a screwdriver (it's not really a screwdriver it has a tip like an icepick) and a hammer to poke a hole in the pennies.
My son wears them on a thin piece of leather as a necklace -- he like to interchange them.

Thanks for your help. I have one question. When you use a screwdriver or an awl doesn't that leave sharp ends on the reverse side of the penny? What do you do about that?
Blueapple422: Thanks for the idea of a thin leather piece as a necklace. I have an eleven year old Grand Nephew and that sound like a great idea for him for Christmas.

Thanks again,

Barbara
