pressed pennies at US/IOA??

do they have the pressed penny machines throughout the parks like at disney--just wondering because my son loves to collect these..thanks

Yes they do, and they have quite a few machines.

I had a listing of all the machines when we went, that way we knew where to look. Just search on www.yahoo.com using the words pressed penny universal studios and you will find a list to print out. They have it for Disney, too.

Make sure to bring EXTRA pennies to throw in all the fountains in the parks.

Most of the machines are located as you exit the rides and enter the gift shops(Jurassic Park,Dueling Dragons), or by the front door of the gift shop (Cat in the Hat, Kong, MIB). The Spiderman press does quarters the rest are pennies. The gift shops sell a nice folder with plastic sleeves to hold the pressed coins.
Don't forget to bring a roll of shiny pennies and a couple rolls of quarters! Nothing like waiting in line for the cashier to finish 4 customers only to be told she doesn't have enough change to break a dollar for you!

There is also a pressed quarter machine in the Spiderman ride gift shop, very cool!
