Press Your Luck : The Scandal

Did anyone catch this special on the Game Show Network? It was on Sunday, at 9pm... (we tivo'd it at midnight though -can't miss Six Feet Under )

It's all about that game show Press Your Luck... "NO WHAMMIES...BIG BUCKS...STOP!" and how someone memorized the gameboard pattern and was able to win more money than anyone else in the show's history... it's really amazing how this guy did it (esp. for 1984)....

Just wondering if anyone else caught this.

The story was in our newpaper's TV guide. Apparently the game board could have been made completely random, but the producers of the show didn't want to spend the extra $600.

my dh taped it for me and i watched it last night. they also reran it mon night and had other 2 contestants and the brother of the guy on new press your luck.

Yes! We TiVo'ed it, too. It was great! I knew about the scandal beforehand. There are a few websites dedicated to it. The show was great,. That's the second time the episode ever aired. We enjoyed the frame breakdown and Larson's face.

I was really psyched that they actually showed the original episode again. And how they analyzed his face when he was "in the zone"... I thought it was great, overall.
