Probably nothing big but I found this on Screamscape:
"(4/14/04) Screamscape sources tell us that a press Summer Preview event is scheduled for May 4th & 5th. In addition to talk about how this is the 15th Anniversary of the Disney/MGM Studios (Isn’t it time to drop the MGM name yet guys?) the event promises “a few surprises” for Summer and Fall as well as some kind of major announcement on the 5th itself. At this point there are so many things this could be... the 20K Leagues replacement, a Nightmare Before Christmas Haunted Mansion or perhaps just the return of the Osbourne lights. More as we find out."

One of the heavy favorites for the "big announcement" is the Magic making a couple of West Coast cruises (since there's a big hole in the 2005 bookings).

Picking up chatter on some of the other boards concerning a new mountain for Canada. Jim Hill is talking this rumor up today as well:

Supposedly this will be a hyped up Brother Bear version of Grizzley River Rapids and it will serve to hide the "Soarin'" show building from WS.

Maybe this will be announced in May....or maybe never...who knows. It is a rumor anyhow!

A flume type (wet) ride is needed in each park, IMO...I'd love to see this AND the tie in for Brother Bear. This movie was good enough to warrant some long lasting fame...Added along with M:S and Soarin' it would fill a big attractions hole. Hopefully something will be done with WoL...

As for The studios, I hope a new show is announced. The loss of Doug and especially HoND sits very poorly with the Pirate clan.

Do you mean other than the Car Stunt Show that they're importing from Paris?

Yes Sara, I mean a stage show...the import of Indy wouldn't upset me either!:p

I've read that they'll be announcing the return of the Osbourne Lights and it'll be a link up with all the other parks to announce the celebrations for the 50th birthday of DLC but i s'pose tis all roumor!
