Press 1 if you will be dining within the next 7 days!!

I love the Loud Family already! :grouphug:

But. How did we get to BWV so quickly? I'm still stuck on "I want the DIning Plan" and next thing I know, you're booked at the Boardwalk! Oh boy - can't WAIT to hear about this place!

More, please! popcorn::

I guess I need to go back and explain....will do in the AM!

Anybody that goes by the name of the Loud family and I need to get in on the adventure as my 2 dear SIL's have nicknamed our family the Loud family. Hmm, I wonder if that's why I have inner ear damage in my left ear:rolleyes: I am just going to pull up a nice comfy recliner and settle in for the ride.

Huh? I can't hear you!

 Oh great, there goes my mind, right back to the gutter!

:

Ahem, does your mind ever stay out of the gutter?

Actually, I'm not loud. I just talk often...ok a lot...ok ok non-stop! And the more I drink, the worse my hearing gets. :confused3
OMG August is going to be so much fun I definately won't get a word in edge ways :rotfl2:

How in the world did we go from the $19 a night roach motel to $200+ DVC rental? One word: Procrastination! It's actually quite simple. I'm the type of person who gets overwhelmed with unlimited possibilites. I can't make a good decision and move on. I have to explore all options in an attempt to make the perfect decision. It's not like I don't have an opinion. What I want is to stay at the CR or Poly. But Disney hasn't adjusted their prices to meet my needs...or should I say the amount of $$ that I am willing to part with. I keep sending them memos, but they haven't responded. :confused3 $150 a night for CR tower MK view seemed reasonable to me. ;)

But, I still haven't explained how it all happened! Ok, reality check: We are in the eat in the park type people. We tried the super budget and carefully planned go back to your hotel and have a meal route last year. Didn't work for us, just isn't gonna happen. It's ok for a couple of meals, but not all. Besides, this is vacation, why the heck do I want to fix sandwiches? Plus, we'd have to deal with spring break traffic. Oh, and I'm not a rental house type person. I like elevators, and hustle and bustle, over priced gift shops, and community pools where people fight over chairs. Even though driving right up to your front door at the Wilderness Cabins sounded fun....and I do have fond memories of the Treehouses...my beloved treehouses. Can I get to the point already! If we are going to eat all meals on-site, we might as well get the DDP. Yes, it may not save any money, but point is, we just don't want to have to keep track of it all. Did I mention that we also have the DDE? In the week that I wrestled night and day, our choices narrowed. The 3* Priceline bids were going for about $75/night, and our AP POR room was gone, so it became clear what to do. Or shall I say that a DVC owner PM'd me with a ressie they had for rent. It was a sign I tell you! I presented DH with our three options (DVC, rack at POR, or two rack Pop rooms), and let him pick. :smooth: It was a no brainer. He chose the DVC, and said, "well at least we will have experienced a DVC in case we decide to purchase points." Gotta love that Mr. Slaw!

Up next: ADR's :scared:

I was catching up on the Santorium trippie. You see it gives me such high blood pressure I actually need to read it while in the ER (emergency room) at the local hospital... just in case. (jk)
I can't believe you survived that trip s'late. Really. You are a saint.
So, yeah, as I was leaving the ER I noticed a link to here. A New Trippie!!! Yeahhh!! So this will be a real trip without anybody elses kids and GP to watch or anything. :cool1:
I can't wait to see how you like DVC. You do know they dust you with pixie dustpixiedust: pixiedust: and this stay will really cost you between $15000 and $30000 by the time you are done buying the DVC. I dont think you can go back to regular rooms. pirate:

SO just said she was so sad that she couldn't even DIS.

UNC just lost to G'Town in the NCAA Tourney.

DO PANIC

YEAH, me too! :thumbsup2 Why don't they ever lsiten to us?

Oh, and I'm not a rental house type person. I like elevators, and hustle and bustle, over priced gift shops, and community pools where people fight over chairs.
I hear you sister! Though I enjooyed renting a house in the NC mountians, I was a tad disillsioned when it turned out I couldn't get pizze/Chinese/subs delivered at 5000+ feet. I was forced to - gasp! - cook on my vacation. :sad2:

Excellent - you've got him right where you want him! :rotfl:

Me: It's Disney, does it matter if we can afford it?
Silence

Hey, I had this same conversation with DH in January! I think he has learned I can budget my way into any Disney trip!
Hope to see you next week........wow, this time next week........
where are you on Monday? We will be at MGM and then late hours at AK.

Monday?....I just figured out Sunday! I do want to hit the EMH at AK so I can see AK at night! We do have an ADR at Coral Reef at 4:20, but I'm not sure if Epcot is going to be the park du jour. It will depend on if Body Wars is still open on 3/31.

I'm with ya there, S'late. I often see people picnicing at Disneyland and trust me, kudos to them. I just can't do it. I don't want to bother with all that on vacation. JMO! ;)

Nice move, S'late! :woohoo: Did you use the old reversed reverse psychology?

Alrighty, I think I can get back to writing this pre-trippie. I've just been so sad since my Tarheels lost. And it wasn't that they lost to a better team, they just rolled over and let G'Town win. I tried to swindle another day at Disney to soothe my aching heart, but DH didn't fall for it. But, the good thing is that now I don't have to conveniently put us near a tv when the Final Four is on!

Now that our sleeping arrangements were made, I now needed to focus on eating. Overwhelmed yet again! I have a list of places we'd like to try and I'm pretty flexible with times. But in the back of my head is the possibility of free dining. And, during this planning, my BIL mentions that he and his children want to go to Disney again this year if we go. Now I have several lists going:

1. April options
2. Free dining options for 5
3. Free dining options for a larger group.

How can I decide if I don't if free dining is going to be offered? Plus, DS will be 10 for our next trip, so what meals will he like off the adult menu? Luckily he's not a picky eater; if it's pizza, he'll pick it! :rotfl: Actually, he'll eat whatever is put in front of him, but still I look at the menus. So I have narrowed the list to the following:

In no particular order, all for dinner:
1. Chef Mickey's
2. Coral Reef
3. Wolfgang Puck
4. Teppanyaki
5. Boma
6. Le Cellier
7. Alfredo's
8. Liberty Tree Tavern
9. Garden Grill
10. Rose and Crown
11. Biergarten

Mr. Slaw informs me that he wants some breakfast ADR's. He just loves breakfast!! Here's the breakfast choices:

1. Boma
2. Whispering Canyon
3. 1900 Park Faire
4. O'Hana

Now I have the daunting task of cutting the dinner list to 5. How will I decide?

I can help with the breakfast one, check out 1900 Park Faire. Their made to order omelets are to die for! The characters are cute, too, but my kids are getting older, so that doesn't matter too much anymore.

Thanks! I want to hit that one before it goes to refurb....just in case they decide to make a change to it.

Will they have breakfast with Mary Poppins or Stitch? If Teppanyaki is closed for refurb, will she try to convince the CM's at Yakitori to juggle knives? I'm tuning in tomorrow for the next exciting episode of, "Press 1 If You Will Be Dining Within The Next 7 Days!!" :happytv:
