I was planning on doing US/IOA October 2008, but looks like some scheduling snags has us working around school year schedule.

No matter what time of year, we plan to spend at least 2 nights at HRH, so FOTL.

Taking into consideration room rates, airfare rates, crowd levels & heat, please help me decided February over Presidents Weekend, Easter week (March 21 - March 30) or June 6th -14th?

March also offers spring training

Help a confused Mom!

All of those times are going to be busy. All of them. Presidents Day Weekend is going to be busier than the rest of Feb. Three Day Weekend.
March is going to be really busy, because all of the other schools in the country being on Spring Break at various times, and especially those times. Somewhere on the boards there is a list of Orlando area school calendars (that should be stickied cough cough). Try checking that for all the dates that Orlando area schools will be out.
June will be busy, because its June. Its Florida and the weather is always going to be fairly warm, but not as bad as August, so you're good there. Feb and March tend to be a little on the chilly side in the morning, but thats chilly in my respects, which is probably not chilly to you.

As stated, they are all busy times. You will have FOTL so it won't matter as much. I believe the parks are open later during Easter week and that is a great advantage.

Thanks for your inputs! :thumbsup2

I know none of these times are ideal :scared1:

I really wanted to go in October -- stupid school year :teacher: and sports :headache:

Sounds like Easter week may be it.

I hear from most that early June is still a moderate crowd time simply because many schools don't let out til the second or third week of June. Just thought I'd toss in that bit of info to add to the confusion. FOTL will certainly make a big difference at any of these times though.

In early June you can run into a lot of "class trips" with HUGE groups of high school students.

not sure if you are flying or not; might want to take $ factor into consideration...Easter's a killer

We enjoyed 5 days @ HRH beginning the Sunday (week running into the weekend); it was our 1st trip & we were so awed by FOTL the crowd didn't register lol.

When we moved to WDW that weekend it was such a shock to deal with the Twirlers, President's Day & Daytona Weekend guests:scared1:

Still, we'd visit the same week, just in reverse order.
