Presidents weekend apply to new discounts?

I am asking for a friend going in February on presidents weekend. Does the new stay/play/dine deal apply to that time frame or is it blacked out? Thanks!

Someone posted this - I'm guessing President's weekend is that excluded piece in the middle of January, but I didn't check the calendar.

The dates are Jan 1 to 17 and Jan 21 to March 7.

That weekend excluded is MLK weekend. I'll be there then. I have to be honest, I had to google it but presidents weekend is Feb 16-17 with Mon the 18 as the actual Presidents' Day.

Oh sorry- must be too early in the morning! I read President's, but my brain didn't process right! I was going to say though that President's week *is* normally excluded from room discounts, AFAIK.

Wonder if anybody yesterday booked one and was it discounted??? My package ends on MLK weekend and I still got over 850 back on my POFQ ressie. I have no breakdown of each night to know what dates were discounted or not. I have no clue. I may have to call for her.

We are staying February 12 -February 19 and we got the stay/play/dine at art of animation in a suite. I know the info said that the suites were not included but I used code T64 and it gave me an additional 300 off from RO discount.

Our dates are 2/12 - 2/19 (in the middle of Prez Day w/e) and I was able to get room only at POP for $848 (total, was $1130), or a package for $1900. All Stars was $80 less. The package was for 2A with 5 day hoppers and QS dining.

We will be on the same cruise with you! I am still trying to figure out the when's and where's of adding a park stay, though. Not sure if kids' schedules would be better missing the final 3 days of the quarter or first 3 of the next one, and this disney visa discount is NOT making any sense so far. The totals I got from my TA are higher than the WDW rack rates!

I booked Feb 13-20. 2A 3 Kids (17,10,5) POR Riverview, 2 Day Tix, DDP. Rack rate $4551.06 New Rate $2992.60. So it was definitely discounted. Which I figured out is a little more ($33.90) than a 35% discount on the package.

Yay! Yes it is very confusing, the RO discount worked out better for us because of the short stay and only 2 day base tix. And that's very odd that it worked out higher than rack rate . We are going before the cruise which is how we've done it in the past. It's a surprise for DS for his birthday and we are picking him up at school on 2/13 (Wed) and going straight to the airport. We don't arrive in Orlando until dinner time. So he'll only miss 2.5 days of school (Kindergarten). All this "talk" has me even more excited!

I still need to figure out the best way to get to/from the port!

I'm pretty sure I read there were some blackout dates around President's weekend. Maybe February 14 or 15 -19? I saw somewhere you could start checking in again on February 20 to get the discount.
