OK, I'm gettnig nervous about the crowds now. We were there the end of PW in 2001 and didn't have a problem, but the fact that Disney extended the hours is making me worry.

We were planning on going to MGM for the EMH night (Sun, the very last day of the holiday week). We have a Fantasmic dinner package that night, so it's a real plan. None of the parks have had their hours extended for that night - I would think most of the crowds should be gone by then. Or am I kidding myself?

We plan on using EMH morning at MK on Fri and maybe EMH morning at AK on Sat, but will hop to another park if it gets too crowded. My only concern is if I should try to change the Fantasmic dinner PS, or if you think Sunday night is the best bet for low crowds at MGM (bet. Fri 2/25, Sat 2/26, Sun 2/27). They extended the hours for Fri & Sat at MGM.

Thanks!

That weekend Feb 25-27 is ESPN weekend at MGM it's going to be packed. There are all sorts of activities planned with sprorts personalities, TV shows will be taped, its probably the worst park to be at that weekend. Sorry :guilty:

I'll be there the same time. I can't say what WILL happen, but I am not sure if you realize that it will ALSO be ESPN Weekend at MGM. That may have something to do with the extended hours as well. (I was hoping the same thing as you, that by Sunday the crowds would go down again).

We arrive on Friday...and our tradition is to do MK. On Sat we are gonna do AK. (EMH..am). Then since Sunday is MGM EMH...pm, we are gonna take it easy in the am, head over to MGM...but we are skipping Fantasmic that night. I was thinking that watching Fantasmic would be wasting the extra three hours the EMH would give us...of course all of this "planning" could change once we get there...denpending on crowds....

Also, when our trip was only 20 days out I made all our PS ressies, and got everything we wanted, when we wanted it...

so, hopefully the crowds wont be too bad, but if they are heavy, hey, at least we still get to be there!!

*sigh*

I didn't know about ESPN weekend. Well, whatever happens, happens. I've already experienced almost everything there at least once (Fantasmic being a big exception), so if we miss anything, it won't kill us.
