Could anyone tell me if the crowd levels are really high during President's Week?

Yes, for the last couple years they have extended hours throughout the entire week instead of just the Monday of the holiday. Many schools are giving the entire week off now.

How would you compare the crowd levels to other times of year? My only experience with DL has been with end of June crowds and I'm trying to gauge. My DS does have the whole week off of school which is why we're going, I'm just wondering how many others will be having the same idea.

I understood from my sister's experience last President's Week that it was crazy busy when they were there. Worse than end of June which is a w=time we have gone often.

I think it can be done but you have to use clever touring plans - being there as early as you can get in , good fast pass collection to use later the evening, etc.

Thanks. I was thinking of bringing my kids on vacation to DL. We went to Orlando last year, but I thought it would be too crowded this year for President's Week. I guess it will be crowded in Disneyland and Walt Disney World.

Is President's week the 14th thru 20th? We are coming for the week before from Canada.

My family spent 9 days in the parks last year during the Presidents Day week because we had a nice long break. Yes, it was crowded, but the crowds were manageable, in part because the weather is not hot. That is big part of making the crowds really miserable. Actually we had some rain on our trip and we loved it, as it got rid of everyone! Some of our best riding times, I tell you. Don't be scared of scheduling in this time frame. Be smart, use fast pass and good touring strategies and have a great time.
