Hi everyone! I'm back with my second dining review.

Here's the places:

Pop Food court
Olivias
Spoodles
Flame Tree
Tony's Town Square
Maya Grill
50 PTC
Liberty Inn
Cosmic Rays
T Rex
Studio Catering Co.
Whispering Canyon Cafe
Yorkshire County Fish Shop

I took some pictures and actually forgot to take some of places like 1900 park Fare & Crystal Palace. Sorry.

So on to the 1st meal:

We stayed at Pop this time. Our first time at this resort.

After a grueling 23 hour car trip from NY, our lunch was at the food court.

Us adults had 2 of the Chicken Penne Alfredo, while our 9 yr old had a pizza kids meal.

Our 10 year old daughter had the adult chicken nuggets, it's the one with the fries. Our daughter, being an "adult" now gave this meal a "6" out of 10. Of course we have the usual desserts, cupcake, brownie & danish.

~ Not a bad start to our dining adventures this time. The chicken was huge and thick.

Next up: Olivias @ Old Key West - dinner

I'm in! Cannot wait to hear about Tonys!

Our dinner the 1st night was @ Olivias. Being new DVC members we wanted to check out some of the places we could stay.

Needless to say, we were beat after a long car ride and our stomachs were rolling from being in car that long. But we went and tried it.

We were early for our reservation, but they sat us early without a problem.

Our waiters name was John and he was very friendly and helpful.

On to the food:

There were 2 breads, but one disappeared into our tummies pretty quickly

Kid's Chicken Noodle Soup

Kid's Hot Dog Meal

Our 10 yr. olds Free Range Chicken - she gives this one a "6" as well.

Us adults had two of these: NY Strips

Kids ice cream

Cheesecake with seasonal berries

Our 10 yr old didn't like any of the adult desserts so she asked for ice cream.

This was my dessert. Chocolate cake. I can't remember the exact name but it was good.

This was a good place to eat. I only wished my stomach had stopped rolling by this time. I was kinda feeling so -so from the car ride still.

We would eat here again, I'm sure.

I'm in. I'm anxious to read your review of Spoodles which we are trying in September and WCC (which we ate at last September...I'm curious what you thought of it).

Our 1st full day brought us to the Crystal Palace for breakfast. Sorry - no pictures here, I forgot. But I will say it's a good buffet. So, since I have no pictures of Crystal Palace, I'll move on to Tony's.

We had a reservation here at 1:30.

We waited about 10- 15 min. Not too bad of a wait. We didn't get to eat on the porch like last year, but we ate in the room before it. They were very busy and all the tables there were full.

The husband got his usual, chicken parm.

DD10 got the meatball sub:

My other DD9 got the kids spaghetti. Sorry I don't have a pic here.

I got the baked ziti:

Now, I was not too happy with this dish this time. It was almost like a big pile of mush. I don't remember it being like this last year. I'm going to have to look at my last review. I'm remembering it being more formed in a lasagne square with bigger noodles. Please someone correct me if I'm wrong.

Desserts

Ice cream bomb X 2

The husbands Strawberry Cheesecake:

As this is one of favorite places, we'll probably go back here in December. I'll probably order something else besides my ziti. :sad1:

Your forgot to tell us how the 10 year old rated her meatball sub. I love that part.

I just got done looking at my last years pics from Tony's. I was right, the ziti looks totally different. If anyone is interested it's on page 4 of the November Dining review at the bottom of the page.

The one from last year was totally better by far. I wonder why they changed it? Hmmm.

Oh yeah! She rated this one a "7." It would have gotten a "10" but theres a hitch.

Instead of full round meatballs, the meatballs were cut in half and then placed on the sub. So, there had to be a total of 4 meatballs on this thing.

Wow...I had the Ziti when I was there last July and it was so good. The Ziti on that plate looks like a pile of mush (as you said)! I am glad you posted a picture because there is no way I will order that when we go back in June! I will have to go with the Chicken Parm instead! Hopefully, it changes back to what it used to be!

Thanks for the reviews. We're having lunch at Tony's & 50's for the 1st time in May. I'm going back to read your other reviews too. :thumbsup2

Welcome back to the snow country.:rolleyes1

Ugh! We hit snow in Southern NY. We ended getting at least a foot of new snow during our vacation.

Okay...

Dinner was at the Pop food court that night. Here's what we had:
